Lovelady: 162.6 ft depth to water (Average is about 153 ft)

Drought conditions approaching

Without additional rainfall the District's drought triggers (Lovelady Well and Barton Springs) are on track to pass their respective Alarm Stage Drought thresholds by late April or early May.

February 2011 Aquifer Update

Lovelady: 158.9 ft depth to water (Average is about 153 ft)

The Climate Prediction Center has issued a "La Nina Advisory" which indicates drier-than-normal conditions for Central Texas through at least this spring. Without significant rains in the Spring of 2011 we may be headed back into drought conditions by the summer.
