July Aquifer Update

Drought Stage: Alarm Stage II
Lovelady: 187.7 ft depth to water
Barton Springs: 26 cfs 10-day average

Without significant rainfall we anticipate entering into Critical Stage III Drought in September. A tropical system is really our best hope for rainfall in the upcoming weeks.

Lovelady Monitor Well: 186.5 ft depth to water

Using the recession from the 2008-9 drought, we estimate that we may enter into Critical Stage III Drought by mid-September, unless we receive significant rainfall.
